Verified scales
only — no guesses

Every GPA scale in these calculators has a verifiable public source. We include only five scales: 4.0, 4.33, 5.0, 7.0, and 10.0. We've never published a 6.0 or 12.0 scale because we couldn't find documented institutional use for them.

Grade-point values follow the CollegeBoard 4.0 standard — the same mapping published in NCES IPEDS data and used by the vast majority of US colleges. All calculators are limited to US institutions. Data sources: IPEDS and College Scorecard.

Nothing you enter in any calculator leaves your device. Calculations run entirely in your browser. Saved state uses localStorage — clearing your browser data wipes it cleanly.
