Percentage to GPA Calculator
Convert a percentage score to a 4.0 GPA equivalent and letter grade. Uses the CollegeBoard percentage–to–letter cutoff table rather than a proportional formula — so 93% correctly maps to A (4.0), not a calculated approximation.

GPA to Percentage Calculator
Convert a 4.0 GPA to its percentage equivalent range and letter grade. Returns a range (e.g. 90%–92% for a 3.7 A-) rather than a false single number, because GPA→percentage is inherently a range.
Open calculatorScale to scale
GPA to 4.0 Scale Calculator
Convert a GPA from a 4.33 or 5.0 scale to the standard 4.0 scale using letter-grade table lookup — not the proportional formula (which gives wrong results). Essential for applications that require a 4.0 GPA.

Table lookup,
not proportional math
Most GPA conversion tools use a proportional formula — they divide your GPA by the scale maximum and multiply by 4.0. This gives wrong answers. A 3.67 on a 4.33 scale converts proportionally to 3.39, but the correct answer is 3.70 (A-) because 3.67 on a 4.33 scale is an A-, which maps to 3.70 on a 4.0 scale.
Every converter on this site uses a letter-grade table lookup: your GPA is matched to the letter grade it represents on its source scale, and that letter grade's 4.0 point value is returned. This is how credential evaluation services like WES and ECE actually convert grades — not proportional math.
All conversion data comes from verified public sources: CollegeBoard BigFuture, WES grade-conversion tables, and UGC India published guidelines. Where authoritative source data isn't available (Germany, UK A-Level degree class), we label it "research pending" and don't publish guesses.
